IMAP Works in Outlook but not in Pandora [RESOLVED]

Hi--I'm a paid user, former Eudora user. I bought the program sometime ago and now Eudora is really not working so I want to make the switch.
No matter what settings I use, I can't get IMAP to work. My email is on sbcglobal.net. Sometimes there is an error message but mostly not.
I don't think it is the server because Outlook works and syncs perfectly using IMAP.
Any suggestions?

The usual suspects are port number and SSL, according to their support-site, for IMAP it's 993 or 995 and SSL Always. Have you tried that? If so, send us direct bug report (Help/Send Feedback/Report a Bug) and full specs from Outlook/Eudora (minus password).

Thanks, yes I have the port and SSL, what is puzzling is that I'm using the same setting from Outlook. I do not get an error message, when I click check mail it just blinks and nothing happens. There's not that many settings, there's just the email, password, port, SSL....I have tried all combinations.

I'm trying "resync folders" it seems to be doing something.....maybe that is it. Did I miss that in the install instructions?

Try this:

Double click/open INBOX or any other IMAP mail-folder.

IMAP Personality/Properties/Checking Mail:
Check 'Include on global check'.
Hit OK

Hit Action/Check Mail from the main menu.

Hi--it all seems to work! I just need to right click and then resynch.
Question--is there a way to download all the message bodies in one action? I only have the headers. Thanks in advance.

Last question--it is very hard to move messages in Yahoo to Archive, Can I do this safely in Pandora? Cut and paste? Thanks so much.

Of course, yes, just drag and drop messages from source mailbox to Archive, or use the Transfer menu.

No - no need to re-install, here is how to do it:
1. Open the INBOX, select messages you want to (re-)download (in this case that would be for the fist time).
2. Right-click/Server Status > Fetch.
3. Close INBOX, hit Action/Check Mail.

Hi--I tried that and I got duplicate messages for all the 10,000, plus duplicate attachments, so I had to reinstall...
